I like Bon Iver as well. It's dark but not overly emo and quite melodic as well. Things seem to be going well for him. Sunset Rubdown are alright, they're playing in my town on friday, might check 'em out. Loads of good bands are coming out of the US this spring. Ruby Suns are really awesome, so are Fleet Foxes (both Sub Pop bands). Also the new Animal Collective EP is cool and The Dodos are a really cool band worth checking out!

The Bon Iver LP has just arrived here in England. Wow! It's so utterly beautiful. I would recommend listening to it for the first time in a darkened room.

Thought they'd be a few BWS fans out there that may have heard it and have an opinion. How many more great bands are there in the US that I've yet to hear about? Also recently got the Sunset Rubdown album, that's also fantastic.

Yes, it's great. In BWS terms, I would say that it sounds like a perfect mix between All Night Radio and Mystic Chords of Memory! I'm really looking forward to seeing him/them live when they'll tour Europe later this fall.

The new Band of Horses album is also very good.

I don't know about the rest of the world but in Sweden summer came early. This is wonderful, music always sounds better in sunshine.

The Sunrays - Andrea
In the early years The Beach Boys were managed by the Wilson Bros father Murray. He wasn't that kind though so they gave him the sack. He then put together a new group called The Sunrays and made super-ripoff beach boys style music. Not nearly as good as the real thing (what is?) but still. Check out 'I Live For The Sun', amazing.

Beau Brummels - Bradleys Barn
Another one of those california-bands-go-roots-in-1968 style records. Lovely sound and songs with depth. Check it 'Bless You California'.

Gene Clark - With The Gosdin Brothers
Sundazed has finally released a reissue of Gene Clarks first solo album. It looks almost as good as it sounds. This album is equivalent in quality to what Dylan made at this time. Awesome!

Bob Dylan
Especially the albums Modern Times, Nashville Skyline and John Wesley Harding.

Silver Jews
Especially the albums Bright Flight and Tanglewood Numbers. I Remember Me is probably (together with Beachwood Sparks rendition of By Your Side) the most moving love song recorded in this millennium.

M. Ward
Especially his to latest albums, Post-War and Transistor Radio.

David Sandström Overdrive
Superb Swedish indie rock.

Nobody & Mystic Chords of Memory
Tree Colored See is in my opinion the best album to be released in 2006!

We pick up where we left off in the old forum. This is the place where you salute to the world whats happening musically in your life at the moment. Good new music that you suggest other approach or old forgotten stuff that should be revisited.

Sebadoh - Bakesale
Classic album from 94 by old Dinosaur Jr. member Lou Barlows new band. This is the time where lo-fi and emo and slacker rock sort of melt together and in that we get something new and actually worth listening to. A Sub Pop gem!

The Earlies - The Enemy Chorus
This is for you guys who thinks that the last BWS EP is awesome. A british folk-indie-prog-electronica group who, in my record collection, really made a splash with their old school Mercury Rev debut 'These Were The Earlies' a couple of years ago. Here's their sophomore effort, I've only listened to it once but it sounds promising.

Blue Circle Magic
Well there is no available music yet but most of us cannot wait for Aaron Sperske (BWS, All Night Radio) to bring psychadelia back to the Blue.
